Tank

10,000 U.S. gallons (38,000 liters) (3% outage) stainless steel tank fully baffled, single compartment, overturn protection, one 20" manhole with 10" fill opening and vent, two 20" inspection manholes, and two 1" water drain valves. Meets all requirements of D.O.T. 406 specifications. Note: 10-year tank warranty!

Chassis

Heavy duty, low profile, airport chassis with rear diesel engine (far away from aircraft fueling connections), automatic transmission. (Detail specifications available upon request.)

Pump

Hydraulically driven Gorman Rupp centrifugal type.

Filter/Monitor

Horizontal F/M with differential pressure gauge, purge valve, pressure relief valve, air eliminator and drain valve. F/M meets IP specifications.

Deadman and Pressure Control

Air operated inline deadman/pressure control and shut-off valve. Provides secondary pressure control. Primary pressure control regulated by air operated bypass valve.

Meter

One meter, with large numeral reset counter and totalizer, registers in whole U.S. gallons.

Venturi

Two, sized to compensate for pressure loss hose reels and at lift deck.

Hose Reels

One reel; sized for 2 1/2" x 50' hose, non-ferrous internals, explosion proof electric rewind motor and switch, auxiliary manual rewind. A shut off valve is installed immediately upstream of the reel.

Hydraulic Lift

Front mounted high lift fueling platform (72" x 48") hydraulically operated. Adjustable from 50" to 146" with JAC Riser hose and two fueling hoses. Capable of fueling B777 and A380 aircraft.

Hoses

One 50' hose on hose reel and two 10' aviation fueling hoses on lift deck with N/R male couplings, certified to API 1529.

Underwing Nozzle

Three international standard 3-lug underwing nozzles with quick disconnects and swivels.

Bottom Loading

Includes a jet level sensor control system for automatic, high-level shut-off with precheck. The bottom loading adapter is capable of accepting a standard underwing nozzle, and is installed on the driver's side. A shut-off valve shall be supplied immediately down stream of bottom loading adapter.

Defuel

Air operated fuel/defuel system operates in conjunction with bottom loading system to include overfill protection.

Piping

Aluminum or stainless steel - 150 PSI rated working pressure.

Test

Flow tested with fuel for performance to rated specifications.

Finish

Tank remains in natural stainless steel finish, cab and equipment painted one color with polyurethane paint.

Safety Features

Static reel with 50' cable and bonding clamp, brake interlock system, emergency shut-down system and two fire extinguishers.

Compliance

Meets all applicable NFPA 407 & 385 codes. Design complies with ATA-103 requirements. JIG compliance can be met for exporting units upon request.
