(Sugar Land, TX – January 9, 2026) Mike Ford recently joined Garsite as Vice President of Engineering. This marks his return to Garsite as he previously worked as a Project Engineer and later as an Engineering Manager for the company, where he played a key role in product design and engineering operations.
With more than 35 years of experience in aviation fueling and engineering, Mike brings extensive leadership and technical expertise in the design, development, and delivery of aviation fueling equipment. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Engineering at Skymark Refuelers, where he helped build the company from the ground up, establishing systems and designing innovative fueling products for customers worldwide. His leadership contributed to Skymark’s growth and majority acquisition in 2021.
“Throughout his career, Mike has been responsible for creating engineering standards and systems, managing engineering departments, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and collaborating closely with sales, production, and quality teams to deliver reliable, high-performing equipment,” explained Terry Bosserman, Chief Commercial Officer for Garsite. “Mike brings an unmatched level of experience and expertise in this industry that will only help strengthen our equipment performance, ergonomics, and quality. We look forward to working with Mike to cement our position as the industry leader further.”
He has also been actively involved in the industry as a member of the SAE AE5C Committee, contributing to the development of specifications and recommended practices for building and testing aviation refueling equipment. In his role as Vice President of Engineering, Mike will focus on advancing Garsite’s engineering capabilities, supporting product innovation, and ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality fueling solutions for customers across the aviation industry.
